Sept. 26
Police responded to 28 incidents, including the following:
Truancy — Police responded to truancy reports at Shawano Community High School, 220 County Road B, and Shawano Community Middle School, 1050 S. Union St.
Shoplifting — Dunham Sports, 1211 E. Green Bay St., reported three women were shoplifting. The merchandise was recovered.
Theft — License plates were reported stolen from a vehicle on South Bartlett Street.
Hit and run — Police responded to a report that a vehicle was damaged at Hillcrest Primary School, 1410 Waukechon St. The other vehicle did not stop.
Shoplifting — A male shoplifter was reported by Walmart, 1244 E. Green Bay St., Shawano.
Theft — A purple and white girls mountain bike was reported stolen from a bike rack at the Recreation Center, 220 E. Division St.

Deputies responded to 44 incidents, including the following:
Harassment — Deputies responded to a report of a female lifeguard being harassed at the aquatic center at Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School, 400 W. Grand Ave., Wittenberg.
Fraud — Deputies investigated a fraud complaint on state Highway 22 in Gillett.
Property damage — Deputies responded to a report that a mailbox was knocked down and garage windows egged on Fir Road, Pulaski.
Theft — A female on South Bartlett Street in Shawano reported her purse was stolen Friday.
Domestic disturbance — Deputies responded to a report that a father hit his child several times on South Union Street in Shawano.
Accident — A woman on Pike Lane, Wittenberg, reported a bear had run into the side of her car on U.S. Highway 45.

Police responded to nine incidents, including the following:
Animal neglect — Police responded to a report of animal neglect on Seventh Street.
Bad checks — Four bad checks were reported on South Main Street.
Juvenile — Police responded to a report of an uncontrollable juvenile on South Clinton Avenue.
Theft — A bike was reported stolen on Eighth Street.
