For the second consecutive year, KerberRose has been honored with a When Work Works Award for exemplary workplace practices.

The award is part of a Society for Human Resource Management national initiative that helps employers become more successful by creating effective and flexible workplaces.

The award recognizes employers of all sizes across the country that excel at offering employee initiatives such as work-life fit policies, flexible scheduling and transition to parenthood programs. The award also includes initiatives that address opportunities for learning, a culture of respect and trust, and job autonomy.

“KerberRose is truly honored to be awarded this prestigious award recognizing our family-friendly workplace practices for the second year in a row,” said Melissa Olsen, human resources manager at KerberRose. “The firm’s leadership is dedicated to providing our team members with opportunities to succeed in both their professional and personal lives. Workplace flexibility is a cornerstone of KerberRose’s culture; it is not just a policy.”

Award winners have reinvented their workplaces in ways that benefit business and employees alike, said Cassidy Solis, a senior adviser with SHRM.

Two-thirds of an organization’s winning score is based on a survey of its employees.

KerberRose is a Wisconsin certified public accounting firm with offices in Shawano, Green Bay, Fox Cities, Clintonville, Sister Bay, Rhinelander, Oshkosh and Wausau.
