Shawano Police Department

Oct. 24

Police logged 29 incidents, including the following:

Juvenile — Police responded to a juvenile problem at Olga Brener Intermediate School, 1300 S. Union St.

Accident — Police responded to a minor accident at Richmond Street and Lakeland Road.

Harassment — Police responded to a harassment complaint in the 200 block of South Andrews Street.

Suspicious — A man wearing a clown mask and carrying a bat was reported at Washington and Hill streets. It was determined the clown was not doing anything illegal.

Oct. 23

Police logged 13 incidents, including the following:

OWI — A 52-year-old man was arrested for operating while intoxicated in the 100 block of South Washington Street.

Theft — A bow was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1200 block of East Green Bay Street.

Disturbance — Police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of East Randall Street.

Harassment — Police responded to a harassment complaint in the 300 block of Pearl Avenue.

Oct. 22

Police logged 23 incidents, including the following:

Fleeing — Charges were expected to be filed against a 17-year-old Shawano boy who led police on a chase in a stolen vehicle. The pursuit was terminated north of the city, but the vehicle was re-engaged by tribal police and eventually crashed. The vehicle was stolen from the Menominee Casino Resort in Keshena. No other information was available.

Juvenile — Police responded to a juvenile alcohol complaint at Andrews and Division streets.

Auto Theft — A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Sunrise Lane.

Disturbance — Police responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of West Picnic Street.

Theft — A TV was reported stolen in the 400 block of South Union Street.

Oct. 21

Police logged 25 incidents, including the following:

Disturbance — Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of North Franklin Street.

Shoplifting — Walmart, 1244 E. Green Bay St., reported a shoplifting incident.

OWI — A 28-year-old man was arrested for operating while intoxicated in the 200 block of North Sawyer Street.

Drug Offense — Police investigated a drug complaint in the 1300 block of South Union Street.

Oct. 24

Deputies logged 36 incidents, including the following:

Fraud — Authorities investigated a telephone scam complaint on Butternut Lane in the town of Bartelme.

Assault — Authorities responded to an assault complaint on U.S. Highway 45 in the town of Birnamwood.

Theft — Items were reported stolen from a vehicle on Webb Street in Wittenberg.

Disturbance — Authorities responded to a domestic disturbance on Ebert Street in Gresham.

Accidents — Authorities logged five accidents, including three deer-related crashes.

Deputies logged 36 incidents, including the following:

Disturbance — Authorities responded to a report of a fight in progress on County Road D in the town of Pella.

Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Rollman Street in Bowler.

Suspicious — Authorities responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Broder Road in the town of Wescott.

Disturbance — Authorities responded to a domestic disturbance on Ebert Street in Gresham.

Disturbance — A charge of disorderly conduct was referred against a 34-year-old Cecil woman after a disturbance on Old 22 Road in the town of Washington.

Vandalism — A gate was reported vandalized on Elm Road in the town of Angelica.

Theft — Authorities responded to a property theft complaint on state Highway 47 in the town of Hartland.

Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Plier Road in the town of Green Valley.

Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Warrington Avenue in Cecil.

Accidents — Authorities responded to an injury accident on Kolpack Road in Bowler and logged six deer-related crashes.

Vandalism — Authorities responded to a vandalism complaint on Elm Grove Road in the town of Maple Grove.

Threatening — Authorities responded to a threatening complaint on County Road A in the town of Herman.

Burglary — A burglary was reported on North Shore Lane in the town of Wescott.

Accidents — Authorities logged five deer-related crashes and one vehicle versus raccoon.
