Two Cecil residents have been charged with running alleged marijuana operation out of their home in the village.

Bradley W. Sexton, 53, and Terri L. Singletary, 51, are due in court next month for an initial appearance on multiple drug charges filed this week as a result of a search warrant conducted at their residence in September.

According to the criminal complaint, authorities seized 252 grams of marijuana and 2.7 grams of hash oil, along with $4,013 in cash, narcotics and drug paraphernalia in the Sept. 30 raid.

Authorities also found plant food, watering bottles, grow lights and drying devices in the basement, the complaint alleges.

Sexton and Singletary could each face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if found guilty of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, a maximum 3½ years and a $10,000 fine if convicted of maintaining a drug trafficking place, and the same possible penalty for possession of narcotic drugs.

They are also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

They are scheduled for initial court appearances on Nov. 14.
