The Clintonville School Board is forming a community-based committee to serve in an advisory capacity as the district conducts an assessment of Rexford-Longfellow Elementary School.
The elementary school facilities task force will meet approximately seven or eight times between April and November.
The assessment will include evaluation of security; building systems and components such as roofing, mechanical and electrical systems, heating/ventilation, plumbing and lighting; key instruction and common-use spaces; and building site circulation/parking.
After reviewing the study and prioritizing the needs, the task force will explore potential solutions and help prepare a communitywide survey before making recommendations to the board in November.
