CRI welcomes new employees

Cooperative Resources International recently welcomed three new employees in Shawano.

Becky Onesti, of Shawano, joins CRI as a financial director. Onesti graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Onesti is involved in the Shawano community, currently serving as the treasurer of the Shawano Employers Development Cooperative.

Christa Hoffman, of Gresham, accepted the position of business development administrator. She will assist with cooperative strategic planning, along with research and global development activities. Hoffman received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in community and organizational leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Eric Maynard, of Cecil, is the dairy education instructor for CRI’s Genex Cooperative Inc. subsidiary. Maynard provides sales and service training to Genex marketing employees who reside throughout the United States. He previously worked for Genex in New York providing cattle reproductive services on members’ dairies. While in New York, Maynard was a volunteer for United Way and coached youth soccer.

Cooperative Resources International, headquartered in Shawano, is built from organizations dating back to the 1920s. CRI and its subsidiaries – AgSource Cooperative Services, Genex Cooperative Inc. and MOFA Global – encompass more than 1,500 employees dedicated to meeting the needs of people linked to the land through plant and animal production.
