Challenger Mike Hankins and incumbent Mary-Beth Kuester advanced to the general election Tuesday by claiming the top two spots in the primary election for District 4 alderperson in Clintonville.
Hankins received 115 votes. Kuester finished second with 34. Timothy Zilch was eliminated with eight votes.
In the primary election for two seats on the Clintonville School Board, Mark Zachow topped the ballot with 578 votes. He advanced to the April 5 election with incumbent Dirk Weber (357), Lori Jean Poppe (304) and Larry Czarnecki (267). Samantha Ozment was eliminated with 70 votes.
Incumbent Judith Magee did not seek another term on the board.
