One person was injured and a house was destroyed Wednesday in a fire that broke out on a cul-de-sac on Clintonville’s south side.
Fire Chief Shane Krueger said a resident suffered minor smoke inhalation and was treated at an area hospital after the blaze on Ginger Court.
The fire was reported about 9:15 a.m. The three-bedroom ranch-style home was in flames when firefighters arrived. Several family members were home at the time, but all were able to escape the burning building.
Krueger called the house a complete loss.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
