Jan. 8

Police logged 29 incidents, including the following:

Fraud — Police investigated a bogus check complaint at Kwik Trip, 1241 E. Green Bay Street. The incident is apparently part of a larger investigation into the passing of bad checks involving several counties.

Trespass — Police responded to a trespassing complaint in the 400 block of West Third Street.

Arrest — A 33-year-old man was taken into custody at the probation and parole offices, 1340 E. Green Bay St.

Shoplifting — Walmart, 1244 E. Green Bay St., reported a shoplifting incident.

Jan. 7

Police logged 18 incidents, including the following:

Disturbance — Police responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of South Franklin Street.

Child Abuse — A child abuse complaint was under investigation.

Shoplifting — The Store gas station, 404 E. Green Bay St., reported a shoplifting incident.

Jan. 8

Police logged 30 incidents, including the following:

Warrant — A 39-year-old Wittenberg man was arrested on a warrant on Mission Street in the village of Wittenberg.

Disturbance — A charge of disorderly conduct was referred against a 58-year-old Shawano woman after authorities responded to a domestic disturbance on Glenwood Court in the town of Wescott.

Accidents — Authorities logged six accidents, including two deer-related crashes.

OWI — A 27-year-old Bryant man was arrested for operating while intoxicated after an accident on Cedar Street in Tigerton.

Trespass — Authorities responded to a trespassing complaint on North Shore Drive in the town of Wescott.

Suspicious — A suspicious vehicle was reported on U.S. Highway 45 in the town of Fairbanks.

OWI — A 25-year-old Deerbrook man was arrested for operating while intoxicated on U.S. Highway 45 in the town of Birnamwood.

OAR — A 37-year-old Menasha man was cited for operating after revocation on state Highway 47 in the town of Lessor.

Juvenile — Authorities investigated a juvenile alcohol complaint on Strauss Court in the town of Wescott.

Police logged 43 incidents, including the following:

Disturbance — A 29-year-old Tigerton man was arrested for disorderly conduct and a probation hold after authorities responded to a disturbance on Pine Street in Tigerton.

Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Big Lake Road in the town of Red Springs.

Hit and Run — Authorities investigated a property damage hit-and-run on Foesch Road in the town of Wescott.

Hit and Run — Authorities investigated a property damage hit-and-run on Campground Road in the town of Seneca.

Warrant — A 20-year-old Keshena man was arrested on a warrant, and a 24-year-old Shawano man was cited for operating without a license on state Highway 47-55 in the town of Wescott.

Disorderly — Disorderly conduct was reported on Bennett Street.

Theft — A cellphone was reported stolen on South Clinton Avenue.

Theft — A juvenile was arrested for retail theft on West Madison Street.

Warrant — A 21-year-old Clintonville man was arrested on a Shawano County warrant on South Madison Street.
