Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group’s Shawano office is planning three fundraisers Tuesday to help survivors of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
From 7-9 a.m., agents and staff will be handing out free coffee and home-baked items in front of the office at 105 S. Washington St. in return for donations of cash or checks made payable to TREG Fund.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., agents and staff will be at the Red Barn at Charlie’s County Market, 521 S. Main St., serving brats, burgers and soda.
From 5-7 p.m., they will be back in front of the Coldwell Banker office scooping ice cream for free build-your-own sundaes in return for monetary donations.
“Monetary donations are most needed and we have partnered with GlobalGiving to be sure funds raised are distributed responsibly to the most appropriate local needs in the south,” said Mike Prodehl, president and CEO of Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group.
Donations are also being accepted at coldwellhomes.com/HurricaneRelief.
All donations will go to local nonprofits to fund emergency supplies such as food, water and medicine, in addition to providing longer-term recovery assistance to help residents recover and rebuild.
The Shawano office is among 51 in Wisconsin and Illinois participating in Tuesday’s efforts.
The TREG Fund is Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group’s charity managed by the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region Inc. The TREG Fund allows Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group the ability to collect donations for specific needs and route the funds to where they are needed most. The money raised during this hurricane relief drive will be donated to GlobalGiving.
