Shawano Police Department

Aug. 23

Police logged 21 incidents, including the following:

Arrest — A man was taken into custody at the probation and parole offices, 1340 E. Green Bay St.

Disorderly — Police responded to a disorderly conduct complaint in the 1400 block of East Green Bay Street.

Harassment — Police responded to a harassment complaint in the 800 block of South Park Street.

Theft — A wallet and smartphone were reported stolen in the 800 block of East Richmond Street.

Accident — Police responded to an injury accident at Lincoln and Center streets.

Disturbance — Police responded to a fight in progress in the 400 block of East Green Bay Street.

Shawano County Sheriff’s Department

Aug. 23

Deputies logged 38 incidents, including the following:

Suspicious — Authorities responded to a suspicious person complaint on North Avenue in Mattoon.

Vandalism — Spray-painting was reported at the Novitiate, W9653 Butternut Road, in the town of Herman.

Warrant — A 37-year-old man was arrested on a warrant and cited for speeding and operating after suspension on state Highway 29 in the town of Belle Plaine.

Juvenile — Authorities responded to a juvenile problem on Old Shawano Road in the town of Pella.

Suspicious — Authorities responded to a suspicious person complaint on Woodland Road in the town of Washington.

Clintonville Police Department

Aug. 23

Police logged 14 incidents, including the following:

Fire — Fire department was dispatched to Seventh Street and Airport Road for a grass fire.

Suspicious — A suspicious incident was reported on 15th Street.

Disturbance — Officers responded to a reported fight in progress on South Clinton Avenue, but the complaint was unfounded.

Disturbance — A warning was issued after a neighbor problem on North Main Street.
