Possession of narcotic drugs
A rural Shawano man has been charged with two felony counts of possession of narcotic drugs as a result of a search warrant executed last week.
James H. Debaere, 45, was arrested Dec. 7 after Stockbridge-Munsee Police and Shawano County sheriff’s detectives executed a search warrant at the Whistle Stop, 812 Main St., Gresham.
According to the criminal complaint, authorities found 32 Vicodin pills in his possession without a valid prescription.
Debaere could face a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 fine on each count if found guilty.
He was freed on a $500 cash bond and is due in court for an adjourned initial appearance on Jan. 11.
Manufacture/delivery of cocaine
A Clintonville man is due in court next week on three felony counts of manufacture or delivery of cocaine and one felony count of maintaining a drug trafficking place.
Jaime A. Leroy, 45, could face a maximum 12 1/2 years in prison and $25,000 fine on each of the manufacture or delivery of cocaine counts, and 3 1/2 years and $10,000 fine for maintaining a drug trafficking place if found guilty.
Authorities conducted undercover drug buys from Leroy on three occasions in November, netting a total of 9.2 grams of cocaine, according to the criminal complaint.
Leroy is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Monday.
Manufacture/delivery of marijuana
A Birnamwood man was charged last week with two felony counts of manufacture and delivery of marijuana and one felony count of maintaining a drug trafficking place as a result of a sting operation conducted in February.
Brett J. Faust, 22, could face a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 fine on each of the counts if convicted.
Shawano County sheriff’s detectives conducted two undercover drug buys from Faust on Feb. 8 and Feb. 15, according to the criminal complaint.
The complaint alleges authorities purchased a total of 6.1 grams of marijuana during the drug buys.
Faust is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Jan. 4.
Identity theft, forgery
A Bonduel man is facing felony counts of identity theft and forgery for allegedly using an ex-girlfriend’s personal information to register her car in his name.
Matthew A. Klein, 24, could face a maximum of six years in prison and a $10,000 fine on each of the counts of identity theft for financial gain and uttering a forgery if convicted.
He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of obstructing an officer and fraudulent application for a vehicle registration.
The ex-girlfriend reported to authorities in November that Klein had stolen her title and registered her vehicle under his name, according to the criminal complaint.
Klein is due in court for an initial appearance on Dec. 28.
Felony theft
Three women have been been charged with felony counts of retail theft for allegedly stealing merchandise from a business in the town of Bartelme in October.
Jade L. Pecore, 24, and Manih F. Waupoose, 28, both of Neopit, and Kayla H. Chevalier, 29, of rural Shawano, could each face a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 fine if found guilty.
They are accused stealing $1,907 worth of goods, including mittens, blankets, wallets, cosmetics and accessories, from Headquarters General Store, N8459 Moh He Con Nuck Road, on Oct. 20.
Pecore and Chevalier are both scheduled for initial court appearances on Monday. Waupoose is scheduled for an initial appearance on Jan. 28.
