Shawano Police Department

Dec. 8

Police logged 21 incidents, including the following:

School — Two students got into a physical altercation and cut each other’s hair at Shawano Community Middle School, 1050 S. Union St.

Truancy — Two incidents of truancy were reported, including one student who has missed all or part of 40 days this semester, at Shawano Community Middle School, 1050 S. Union St.

Burglary — A bicycle was reported stolen from a shed at a residence in the 300 block of West Richmond Street.

Suspicious — A passerby reported a 9-year-old boy carrying a knife in the 400 block of West Third Street. Police investigated and found it was a pocketknife.

Theft — A wallet stolen from a parked vehicle was reported by a resident in the 200 block of Kleeman Court.

Shawano County Sheriff’s Department

Dec. 8

Deputies logged 32 incidents, including the following:

School — An incident of a student harassing another student was reported at Birnamwood Elementary-Middle School, 337 Main St., Birnamwood.

Burning — An anonymous caller reported improper burning of materials with irritating smoke on Willow Road in the town of Angelica.

Assault — A resident was accused of assault at a Homme Youth and Family facility, 17998 Hemlock Road, town of Wittenberg.

Trespassing — A woman reported a man trying to get inside her home on Cherry Road in the town of Aniwa.

Clintonville Police Department

Dec. 8

Police logged nine incidents, including the following:

Abuse — A child abuse complaint was reported under investigation at an undisclosed location.

Traffic — A two-vehicle accident with property damage was reported on North 12th Street.

Suspicious — A suspicious odor was reported on West Morning Glory Drive.

Traffic — A hit-and-run accident was reported at Waupaca Street and Hemlock Street.
